Greyed concrete, green brick and fuzzy decks
Hard surfaces fail in different ways. A concrete driveway or sidewalk goes grey and picks up tyre marks and oil. A brick patio or set of steps turns green with algae and gets slick when it rains. A wood deck or fence greys out and the surface fuzzes up as the fibres dry and lift.

Pressure and tip matched to the surface
One setting does not fit a driveway and a deck. Brick, block, concrete and stone take a surface cleaner and a full rinse, which lifts the grime evenly instead of striping it. Wood decks and fences get lower pressure, worked with the grain, so the fibres are cleaned rather than torn.

Chapter 03
Let wood dry, then seal it
A washed deck is not finished the day it is rinsed. Wood needs time to dry before it takes stain or sealer, and stain over damp boards will not hold. If the deck is due for renewal, the wash, the board repairs and the stain are one job, and it sits with Hall Son's Honey-Do work.
